Just over half of the work on the aircraft engines will be performed in Villaroche, France (53 percent, according to the DoD), with 43 percent of the work being performed in Durham, N.C.
Three percent of the contract will be performed in Singapore and one percent in Canada.
Work is expected to be completed in September 2019.
CFM International is a joint venture between the French firm Safran and GE Aviation.
The Naval Air Systems Command, in Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
