Some grants included a focus on coordinated mental health care services, affordable housing and health services for low-income pregnant women. The foundation also provided grants to nonprofits working on eliminating poverty and providing services to low-income families.
“These organizations make positive transformations in the lives of thousands of vulnerable children and families,” said Cathy Ponitz, vice president of the CareSource Foundation. “We are inspired by their work and proud of the partnerships we have shaped together over the past decade. Ultimately, these partnerships create models of positive change that impact our communities and broader social structure for the better.”
