Another retailer is closing at The Greene.

Women’s clothing retailer Ann Taylor at The Greene in Beavercreek will close its doors later this month.

The store is permanently closing on Jan. 21, according to store associates. The retailer is currently offering 60 percent off all clearance items, and will sell through the rest of the inventory in the store.

The Limited, another women's clothing retailer, closed several locations in the region during December. The store location at The Greene closed on Dec. 29, while the location at The Liberty Center closed before Christmas. The stores offered 90 percent off all inventory.

The Limited and Ann Taylor are part of a slew of retailers shutting down locations in an effort to control hemorrhaging costs. Changes in shopper behaviors, online shopping and deep discounters have led to bankruptcies or brick-and-mortar closings for retailers.
