Company owned by Miami U. grad distributing coffee statewide

Rooted Grounds Coffee Company announced it will distribute its products statewide, including in Dayton.

The Cincinnati-based company, founded by Miami University alumni David and Patsy Knopf in 2016, is partnering with Cavalier Distributing to bring their coffee products to cities across Ohio. Starting on Feb. 6, Rooted Grounds will distribute several blends to Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus.

Brands include All Day Breakfast, Executive Columbian, RG Bold, Colombian Decaf and EcoBlend, as well as calorie-free flavored blends including Caramel Crème, Highlander Grogg and Snickerdoodle. The company will then expand distribution to Toledo and Cleveland in late February.
