Dayton-based Midmark to add multiple jobs in engineering department

Dayton-based Midmark Corp. is expanding its engineering department.

The company will host a recruiting open house at 5 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Midmark Education Center, located at 60 Vista Drive in Versailles. Midmark is looking for a variety of engineers with backgrounds in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, quality and software engineers with a minimum of three years experience.

The open positions are in Versailles and California.

The company has seen other growth in the past year. In early November, Midmark acquired a Missouri-based manufacturer of veterinary practice equipment.

Midmark acquired VSSI — a company that specializes in stainless steel cabinetry, tubs, operating table and laminated cabinetry for veterinary practices. The company would not disclose the total monetary value of the acquisition.

Headquartered at the University of Dayton River Campus building at 1700 S. Patterson Blvd., Midmark has 1,600 workers worldwide, including 850 at its Versailles campus in Darke County.
