Dayton Business: Dayton realtors to host volunteer event

The Dayton Area Board of Realtors is bringing together the community to rehab homes within the Miami Valley.

The “Rebuilding Together Dayton” event will bring together volunteers on April 29 to rehab approximately 15 to 20 homes and multiple community areas. The event gives volunteers the opportunity to sign up for two different shifts — one from 8 a.m. to noon, and another from noon to 4 p.m.

The board said every project completed will be unique with a different scope of work such as yard clean-up, plumbing, window work and flooring repairs. Lunch and a t-shirt will be provided, and children over the age of 14 are welcome at the event.
