Frisch’s sees change in top leadership

Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurants has appointed a new executive vice president of finance.

Diane Reed took over the position in mid-November, according to the Cincinnati-headquartered company. Prior to accepting the position, she served as vice president of finance and chief accounting officer for Bravo Restaurant Group since 2007.

“It’s a tremendous opportunity to join Frisch’s Big Boy at such an exciting time,” Reed said. “I look forward to working with a beloved brand that has such an iconic history, while also looking for ways to move it forward for the next generation of customers.”

Reed is a certified public accountant (CPA) and certified cash manager (CCM) who has served as controller for Wendy’s, Donatos Pizza and Victoria’s Secret. She was also vice president for compensation and benefits and CFO of Gates McDonald as part of Nationwide Insurance Companies.

Frisch’s has restaurants located in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Frisch’s operates 95 Big Boy restaurants and franchises another 25 restaurants to independent operators.
