Employees of Fuyao Glass America will be invited to take over Fifth Third Field one Saturday evening next month for a night of family fun.

The plan is to broadcast the Ohio State Buckeyes-Army Black Knights game at the baseball field on the evening of Sept. 16. A kids movie will also be shown, a food buffet will be offered and other activities are scheduled.

“It’s just an employee appreciation night,” said Zack Frink, a spokesman for Fuyao.

Cornhole games, skits, face painters and more are also on the evening’s agenda, including planned appearances by mascots of the Dayton Dragons, the Class A minor league baseball team that calls Fifth Third Field home. The Dragons’ home schedule ends Sept. 6.

The event is open only to Fuyao employees and families. It is not open to the public.
