The International House of Pancakes is serving up breakfast with a little bit of holiday spirit this month.

IHOP is offering two new types of pancakes during December: the Dark Chocolate Peppermint Pancakes and the Eggnog Pancakes.

The Dark Chocolate Peppermint Pancakes are drizzled with chocolate sauce and sprinkled with peppermint candy and white chocolate chips. The Eggnog Pancakes are made with nutmeg, cinnamon sugar and butter rum sauce.

Plus, kids eat free every night through Dec. 18 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The IHOP drink menu includes the new Frosted Mint Hot Chocolate and the classic Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate. IHOP has a location in Beavercreek, located at 2460 North Fairfield Road. There is also a location in West Chester Twp. at 7748 Cox Lane.

IHOP isn’t the only restaurant to switch their menu up for the holiday. Frisch’s Big Boy is offering a limited edition Hot Fudge Cake. The seasonal treat has peppermint ice cream and crushed candy sprinkled on top of the chocolate fudge.

The classic dessert will be available in a special holiday flavor from Nov. 30 to Feb. 7. Frisch’s has more than 95 locations in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
