IKEA to hire 250 workers for new Ohio location

IKEA, the world's largest furniture retailer, is looking to hire 250 employees for its new location in Columbus.

The Swedish retailer announced plans to hire employees for its future Columbus store opening in the summer at the northeastern corner of Interstate-71 and Gemini Place in the Polaris Center of Commerce.

We believe it is as fun to work at IKEA as it is to shop at IKEA.”

Candidates interested in working at the future IKEA Columbus should apply online. IKEA offers family-friendly initiatives and diverse workplace benefits including full medical/dental insurance to coworkers working 20 hours or more per week with eligibility for domestic partners and children.

The company has locations in 48 countries, and has 42 in the U.S. The retailer also has a store located in West Chester Twp., just north of Cincinnati. The West Chester location was the first to open in Ohio in 2008.
