Kettering Health buys land in Troy for future health center

Kettering Health Network has purchased 8 acres at 600 W. Main Street in Troy at the site of the former Hobart Brothers Co. manufacturing plant, the health system announced Thursday.

The network plans to expand healthcare services at the site, but those plans are still being developed, Kettering said in a press release.

Kettering has announced several land and building purchases in the past several months as it continues to expand it’s medical offices and services, including the purchase of the site of a former car wash in West Carrollton where it plans to build a medical office building, and the acquisition of an office and retail building at 2600 Far Hills Ave. in the Shops of Oakwood that it plans to renovate to accommodate new medical offices.
