A new Hilton-brand hotel could be coming to Beavercreek.

A Tru by Hilton hotel has been proposed on a property on the south side of Colonel Glenn Highway. Maani Beavercreek LLC has requested approval from the Beavercreek Planning Commission to construct a 109-room, 49,400-square-foot hotel on 2.4 acres east of Zink Road and Colonel Glenn Highway, according to city documents.

The Tru by Hilyon hotels are “vibrant, affordable and young at heart,” according to Hilton. The hotels typically include lounge spaces, free wireless printing, modern rooms with natural light, free wifi, markets with single-serve beer and wine and fitness centers.

The hotel would be situated across from Meijer and Discount Tire. During a planning meeting, the developer discussed the proposed site plan, parking requirements and other aspects of the project. The staff recommended approval of the case.

The Dayton Daily News has reached out to city officials to find out more information about the proposed hotel.
