The Greene’s newest store is the first of its kind at the shopping center

A new eyewear store is set to open at The Greene Town Center in Beavercreek this week.

Pearle Vision EyeCare will open on Walnut Street next to Winan's on Friday, a spokeswoman for the company told this news organization. The Dayton Daily News first reported about the store's opening in November in this Q&A with The Greene's general manager Steve Willshaw.

Pearle Vision, which also has a location in the Cross Pointe Shopping Center in Centerville, provides eye exams and sells prescription lenses and frames. Pearle Vision has eye care professionals who are trained to examine, diagnose and treat eye and vision disorders. They also comply with state optometry standards and practices.

Several new stores have opened at The Greene within the past year. Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, a restaurant serving baja tacos, chips and guacamole, is expected to open next to Mattress Firm. Other businesses that opened this year include: Puzzles Plus, Seabolt and Co., LaPuf Sweets, Aerolux Blinds & Shades, Deg’s Flame Grilled Chicken and Take A Break. Jake’s Toggery and Select Comfort have relocated into newly remodel and expanded spaces.
