Locally owned outdoor retailer will relocate to Centerville after being in Miamisburg for the past 10 years.

Great Miami Outfitters opened a decade ago in downtown Miamisburg, but will move to Cross Pointe Centre in Centerville in early November. The store will occupy 7,500 square feet, approximately twice the size of the current store.

Great Miami Outfitters carries outdoor gear, apparel and footwear for hikers, paddlers and travelers. Outdoor brands include Patagonia, Jackson Kayaks, Arc’Teryx, Big Agnes and Osprey Packs. They also offer paddling instruction, multi-day backpacking trips, presentations and other classes.

“We already have customers traveling from northern Kentucky, Columbus, Cincinnati and Indianapolis to shop with us. The new store is strategically located for additional convenience for our customers, and customers that like the feel of our current store are going to love what we are doing with the new space,” said co-owner Dan Schlegel.
