Planet Fitness coming to Sugarcreek Plaza: Dayton jobs

Planet Fitness will open a new location in the Sugarcreek Plaza near the Cornerstone of Centerville retail development.

The fitness center will open in the Sugarcreek Plaza, which was acquired by Pebb real estate in January 2016. Bed, Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby are now open in the space formerly occupied by Cub Foods grocery store. Planet Fitness will occupy a 17,000-square-foot space and is expected to open next spring.

“Redevelopment projects are extremely satisfying because they give us the chance to not only improve the offering in a community but also to provide a higher quality of service” said PEBB President Ian Weiner. “Sugarcreek Plaza has been no exception. It’s been exciting to watch the center come back to life.”

There’s also a 6,000-square-foot space available adjacent to Bed, Bed & Beyond, along with an outparcel building.
