Premier Health announced Thursday that it plans to open a new family medicine practice in Miami County.

The Upper Valley Family Medicine practice is expected to open early next year and will be located inside Upper Valley Medical Center’s Outpatient Care Center-North at 280 Looney Road in Piqua.

The practice — which will be Premier’s tenth primary care practice in the market — will offer checkups, emergency care, and other physician services.

“Upper Valley Family Medicine will strengthen Premier Health’s commitment to the residents of our community, and provide another avenue through which it can help care for the patients it serves,” said said Becky Rice, president of Upper Valley Medical Center.
