Two other related resolutions were tabled.

Infirmary Road near Fisher Park is to be upgraded and widened from U.S. 35 south to an area just north of Dayton-Liberty Road, according to TID documents. A new driveway from the intersection of Birdland Avenue at Infirmary to an existing driveway leading to the park is also to be built. Other roadway improvements to accommodate expected fair traffic are also part of the overall planned work.

Ground was broken last month for the Montgomery County Fairgrounds & Event Center, a complex designed for year-round use, at Fisher Park.
After being anchored in Dayton for 165 years, the fair is scheduled to open in its new location — on about 183 acres of Fisher Park — next July.
The resolution TID trustees unanimously approved established an agreement with county government to design and manage improvements to Infirmary and a new driveway entrance to the new fairgrounds site. That financing agreement is not to exceed $2 million.
TID trustees tabled two related resolutions Monday. One of those resolutions would have set up a fairgrounds facilities project management and financing agreement with the Montgomery County Agricultural Society — the body that oversees the annual fair — in an amount not to exceed $13.5 million.
Finally, a second tabled resolution would have (if passed) approved a $330,600 proposal from Ken Conaway LLC for construction management of the project.
