The luncheon is part of Arts Day, Ohio Citizens for the Arts Foundation’s daylong arts advocacy event.

Known as “The Guitar Man,” McCutcheon is Artist-in-Residence at the University of Dayton, and an adjunct faculty member for Wright State University and Miami University.
McCutcheon holds degrees in physics from UD and a music degree from Wright State, is a member of the Ohio Arts Council’s Touring Roster and has made recordings for adults and children.
His Dayton Public Radio show "The Intimate Guitar" airs on the weekends. He is a co-winner of the Arts Education award with Youngstown's SMARTS-Students Motivated by the Arts.

Payne is the winner of the Individual Artist award.
The Miami graduate is the director of the Hartford Art School’s MFA in Illustration program at the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
His work has appeared on the covers of “TIME Magazine” “MAD Magazine,” “Der Spiegel,” the “New York Times Magazine,” “Sports Illustrated” and “Reader’s Digest.”
His work has been on display at the Cincinnati Art Museum, the National Portrait Gallery, the Norman Rockwell Museum, Huntington Art Museum, the Baseball Hall of Fame and other museums and university galleries.
The other winners are Raymond Bobgan, executive artistic director of Cleveland Public Theatre for Art Administration; Columbus' Puffin Foundation West for Arts Patron; Marietta's Peoples Bank for Small Business Support of the Art and Toledo's ProMedica for Large Business Support of the Arts.
Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble won the 2017 Irma Lazarus Award.
