Cedarville University was named the most affordable private college in Ohio by Money magazine, a property of Time magazine.

Cedarville is ranked 15th nationally for its tuition rates, financial aid packages and level student debt upon graduation. Cedarvile was the only private college in Ohio that made the list.

“This kind of study benefits the university by showing potential students and their families that a Christ-centered education is affordable,” said Scott Van Loo, Cedarville vice president for enrollment management.

Cedarville is committed to minimal tuition increases and annual reviews of financial aid packages to maintain the university’s affordability, Van Loo said.

Berea College in Berea, Kentucky, topped the magazine’s list, according to Cedarville. Other colleges named on the list were Princeton University, Harvard University, Yale University and Stanford University.
