Wall Street Journal gives Cedarville U. high marks in ranking

The Wall Street Journal has released its annual college ranking and several area colleges made the list with one even making the top 10 in one category.

WSJ ranked 500 colleges and 16 in Ohio made the list. Schools were also ranked in a variety of categories such as “top schools for engagement” and “top schools for career preparation.”

Cedarville University was the only area college to make one of the top 10 categories. Cedarville tied for third place in the “top schools for engagement” category, according to WSJ. The category gauges what WSJ describes as an “intangible” by measuring how well students learn and how engaged they feel with their professors.

Several other Ohio schools also made the top 500 list, including the University of Dayton and Miami University. Check out a full listing of Ohio colleges below.
