$400K worth of cocaine seized in Montgomery County

Authorities arrested two men and seized around $400,000 worth of pure cocaine on Thursday night.

Alfredo Parra Saucedo, of Chihuahua, Mexico and John Dillard, of Dayton were arrested on drug related charges, according to the Miami Valley Bulk Smuggling Task Force.

The men were taken into custody on Miller Lane, according to jail records.

Law enforcement officials witnessed several criminal indicators of drug smuggling Thursday night and were able to seize four kilograms of cocaine, according to a release.

The vehicle used in the transportation of the drugs was found with a hallowed out compartment specific for fitting and transporting kilograms of illicit drugs, the release said.

Both men are being held in the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of drug trafficking and possession of drugs charges.
