Dayton homicide suspect in jail on numerous charges

Dayton Police confirm William Martin, 23, was arrested and jailed in connection with the deadly shooting outside Rooster's Restaurant Friday night.

FIRST REPORT (Dec. 4, 2016):

A 23-year-old man will be in court this afternoon on numerous charges connected to at least one homicide.

William D. Martin was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on Saturday on suspicion of four murder counts, four felonious assault counts, two counts of aggravated robbery and single counts of involuntary manslaughter and trafficking in marijuana, all felony charges, according to online jail records.

Martin was arrested late Friday at the Dayton Police Department’s detective division, but calls were not returned this weekend regarding Martin’s arrest nor what case to which the charges are connected.
