Kettering man indicted in child sex case

A Kettering man was indicted today for alleged sexual contact with a child.

Montgomery Sanders, 47, was indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury on 13 counts of gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony.

Sanders kept a journal describing acts he committed against a child younger than 13 during the past 12 to 18 months, according to a news release issued by Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr.

The investigation is ongoing, and a grand jury may consider additional charges in the future, Heck stated.

Sanders remains held in lieu of $100,000 bond in the Montgomery County Jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.

FIRST REPORT, Dec. 1, 2014:

A Kettering man was arrested Friday, Nov. 28, for sexually abusing two children multiple times during the past 12 months, police say.

Both children are younger than 10.

Montgomery Sanders, 47, of the 1000 block of Eldorado Avenue was charged with 12 counts of gross sexual imposition and 10 counts of illegal use of minor nudity oriented materials.

He was arrested after the children’s mother found journal entries Montgomery allegedly wrote, describing that he saw the children’s private parts and other details.

Montgomery was being held in the Montgomery County Jail Monday on $100,000 bond.
