Lebanon man charged with attempted murder

A 30-year-old Lebanon man has been indicted on charges of attempted murder and felonious assault in Warren County

Common Pleas Court.

Thomas J. Delong is charged in connection with a shooting on Sept. 27 on Balsam Wood Lane in Lebanon.

DeLong is accused of wounding James Mullins, 27, of Morrow with a shotgun.

Mullins was in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital after the shooting, wounded in the arm, abdomen and groin.

Police said Delong identified himself as the shooter at the scene. He was charged with felonious assault and held in the Warren County Jail, pending consideration of the case by a grand jury.

He was indicted on charges of attempted murder and felonious assault, according to a list released Monday by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

He remained in the county jail Monday on $500,000, pending his arraignment Wednesday in the common pleas court.
