Cleveland.com reports that Turner may be the first person charged under the Ohio law, which took effect in March.
Turner is now accused of having oral sex with a dog he was caring for in May, according to a Cleveland.com report.
The law was approved in December, after efforts in 2011 and 2015 failed to garner enough support in the Ohio Legislature. At the time, Ohio was one of the few states that did not ban bestiality.
