At approximately 8:22 this morning, Springboro High School administration was forwarded an image of a student holding a BB gun that had been posted on Snapchat. The administration immediately notified Springboro police. Administration then pulled the student from class and put the school in internal lockdown. The student admitted the gun was in a locker, and it was immediately confiscated. The student has been arrested. The police determined that there is no threat to student safety, and we have lifted the internal lockdown. Again, there is no threat to student safety.
A Springboro High School student was arrested Friday morning for allegedly bringing a BB gun to school, and the building was put on an internal lockdown briefly. Class have since resumed.
