“On Tuesday, at approximately 11:45 a.m. the Centerville Police Department SRO assigned to the High School requested a medic from the Washington Twp. Fire Dept. to respond to the nurses clinic inside Centerville High School for an unknown problem,” Davis said. “The 15-year-old old student was transported by the fire department to a local hospital for treatment.”

Davis added that a “subsequent investigation revealed that the student had voluntarily ingested an unknown substance which caused an adverse reaction.”

Davis did not provide details about the condition of the student.
