Kroger is expanding its online shopping service to select locations in the Miami Valley region.

ClickList, Kroger’s online shopping service, allows customers to shop online and pick up their order at the store. According to the company, there are more than 40,000 items available to order online. With reserved pickup parking, Kroger associates bring the grocery order to the car.

The service will be available at five locations later this summer, according to Kroger spokeswoman Patty Leesemann. There is no definitive schedule for the openings as of now.

The locations are:

• Englewood (885 Union Blvd.)

• Beavercreek (3165 Dayton Xenia Road)

• Xenia (1700 W. Park Square)

• Sidney (2100 W. Michigan St.)

• St. Mary’s (475 Fortman Drive)

The company started testing the online service in 2014. At Kroger's Liberty Twp. Marketplace grocery store off Yankee Road, employees pilot tested online ordering and in-store pick up, according to the company. It was the first Kroger-branded store nationally to test the service.

According to Kroger, the ClickList user fee is $4.95 per order. The fee is currently being waived for the first three orders so customers can try the new service.

Right now, some of the closest stores with ClickList are located in Troy and Lebanon.

The Kroger Marketplace in Troy opened in April at 731 W. Market St. The $18 million, 125,000-square-foot store was the first Dayton location to offer ClickList in May. The store also has a 24-hour fuel center.
