Northmont competes in Ohio DECA leadership conference

ENGLEWOOD – The Northmont DECA Chapter competed at the Ohio DECA Fall Leadership Conference in Columbus on Monday, Nov. 28.

Grace Counts, Emily Howard, Claudia Studebaker, and David Vennemeyer earned the right to compete in the Public Relations event and Meredith Saylor earned the right to compete in the Parliamentary Law event. Along, with these competitors Ryan Pullins ran a campaign to become Ohio DECA Vice President of Marketing.

All of the students made the finals in their events while Grace Counts finished third in Ohio. While these current students competed, Northmont DECA alumni, Naomi Baker, finished her one year term as the Ohio DECA Vice President of Marketing.
