Designer picked for Springboro shopping center development

Springboro is expected to hire an architect who works with developer Larry Dillin to create a plan for redevelopment of the shopping center at the city’s central crossroads.

On Thursday, the city council is scheduled to authorize the city manager to sign a contract with the James Paresi Design Studio to redesign the former Springboro IGA site.

Paresi works with Dillin, the developer working with the city on development Austin Landing South, about 60 vacant acres on the southeast corner of Austin Boulevard interchange at Interstate 75.

The proposed contract with Paresi on the former Springboro IGA site is the first public indication Dillin will also be involved in this project.
