Career Tech school auction raises thousands for Ronald McDonald House

ENGLEWOOD – The 36th annual Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) FFA Charity Auction raised $7,000 this year, bringing the total over the last 36 years to more than $140,000.

The proceeds from the event go directly to the Ronald McDonald House on Valley Street in Dayton. The charity helps families of hospitalized children have a place to rest.

The auction was sponsored by staff and alumni of the school. MVCTC Ag Livestock and Production instructor Bill Hershberger organized the event with the assistance of several FFA members.
