“We really appreciate to be involved with it because one thing that folks have said is that they really like this program and that all the money, 100 percent of it, goes directly to the children,” said Deputy John Linder, Shelby County Sheriff’s Department. “I’m proud of that fact.”

This is the 22nd year for the FOP Gateway Lodge #138 to fund this program with annual contributions from local businesses, industries and citizens.

Each child was given $150 to spend, $125 in clothing-related items and $25 in toys.
