Pursuit suspect hides in a tree; skunk sprays police K-9

UPDATE @ 4:18 a.m.

A second suspect wanted in connection to a pursuit that ended in Xenia has reportedly been taken into custody.

The suspect was reportedly located in a tree around 4:10 a.m. near the Xenia Community Center on Second Street.

A medic has been requested to the scene because the suspect reportedly suffered head injuries.

UPDATE @4:05 a.m.

A search for two people involved in a pursuit early this morning has ended.

Authorities were not able to locate two of three occupants of a car that led police on a pursuit in Clinton and Greene counties.

A K9 was reportedly sprayed by a skunk during the search.

FIRST REPORT

A police pursuit that reportedly started in Clinton County has ended in a field near Bellbrook Avenue and South Allison Avenue in Xenia.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m. today.

The subjects fled the vehicle, per initial reports.

One individual has been captured by police, two others are still on foot.
