Development of a 42-acre cornerstone property at Austin Boulevard interchange should include a regional medical campus, high-end offices, and hospitality and retail businesses.

The recommendations for land owned by Miami Twp. at the southwest quadrant of a burgeoning junction of Interstate 75 should be "a patient pursuit" of three to five years, according to a consultant hired to pinpoint the land's "highest and best use."

“But that’s not to say it can’t be expedited quicker,” said Scott Pollock, director of Juniper CRE in Cleveland. “We might find like-minded users or developers who might be interested in a quicker time frame.”

The township’s land is at the corner of Wood Road and Austin Boulevard.
