County courts clerk elected to head state group

Gregory A. Brush, Montgomery County clerk of courts, was unanimously elected by his colleagues to serve as president for the Ohio Clerk of Courts Association.

The association represents clerks of courts from Ohio’s 88 counties and is the leading advocate for the office of Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas.

The clerk’s office employs 100 deputies spread out over eight locations in the county and has a total budget of more than $6 million, making the clerk’s office one of the largest in the state.

Montgomery County is known as a leader in the use of technology and for its innovation of effective solutions to complex issues.
