Crews responding to report of fire through roof at Franklin business

Franklin City Council Monday approved raising the hourly rate for volunteer firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics to help attract and retain their volunteer members. Crews have responded to a report of a fire at A&B Foundry and Machining, 835 N. Main St. in Franklin.

According to emergency dispatches, flames were visible through the roof. Crews were dispatched at about 12:45 p.m.
