Fire crews fight barn fire at Darke County cattle farm

Fire crews responded to a fire in a barn at a cattle farm in the 7000 block of Auld Road, just north of Gettysburg, Ohio in Adams Township early this morning.

Darke County dispatchers confirmed the location of the barn, which is listed as the location of Hill & Hollow Farms.

According to its website the farm raises Hereford cattle.

Dispatchers were unable to offer any other information about the fire, but in scanner traffic fire crews said that the initial report said that the barn on fire contained equipment, not livestock.

Also according to scanner traffic, fire crews called for additional assistance to the scene to help fight the fire.

Fire crews were first dispatched around 12:30 a.m.
