Two classic cars in the garage also were damaged.
However, the damage to the house and garage were minor, and the home is livable, the fire chief said.
There were no injuries, Warner said.
FIRST REPORT:
A house was damaged and an RV burned to the ground when the structure located in the 300 block of Uplands Drive in Mad River Twp. caught on fire early Monday morning.
Flames were shooting from the side of the house, and the fire also spread to a nearby tree on the property.

Firefighters called for mutual aid, including an extra tanker, to assist with the fire. The blaze was contained shortly after crews arrived at the scene, and they are now searching for hot spots.
The occupants got out of the home before fire crews arrived, but it’s not clear at this time if there are any injuries.
