Fire at Dayton home displaces two, investigators called to scene

The Red Cross has been called to assist two men displaced by a house fire in Dayton Monday evening.

Dispatchers said fire crews were sent to the 700 block of Greenlawn Avenue around 5:27 p.m. for a reported fire.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire on the first floor of the two story home. It is unknown if the displaced men were in the house at the time of the fire, according to dispatchers.

A fire investigator is at the scene attempting to determine the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage, according to dispatch logs.
