Two people were arrested after officials raided a house in Sidney Friday morning.

Leon Francis, 60, and Sarah Jones, 31, were arrested after a search warrant was performed in the 1200 block of St. Marys Ave. around 9 a.m., police said.

Marijuana, hash, THC and approximately $245,000 were found in a camper on the property.

The camper and a truck were seized and believed to be a part of a large drug trafficking trade that spanned multiple states, according to investigators.

Sidney Police Department, Piqua Police Department, and the Ohio State Patrol issued a search warrant after months of investigative and undercover work, according to Captain J A Tangeman of Sidney police.

Francis, of Sidney, was charged with one count of drug abuse. Jones, of Oregon, was charged with one count of drug trafficking.

The investigation is ongoing and others are expected to be charged, according to police.
