Police and medics were dispatched to Strathaven Drive, near Kitridge Road in Dayton around 8 a.m. Tuesday on reports of a single-vehicle crash.

Officers requested a crash reconstruction investigation due to the severity of the driver’s injuries, police said. Investigators continue to have the area blocked off for the investigation, over two hours after the crash occurred.
The driver, who was not identified, was transported to an area hospital for treatment, but their condition was not immediately known.
