During the last week of last school year, Langford “engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with a 14-year-old male student at the school,” prosecutors said.

We immediately put her on paid administrative leave so we could investigate,” said Miamisburg Superintendent David Vail. “We were just informed today of the findings from the grand jury against this former employee. We will continue to work with the local authorities and the prosecutor with this case.”

Miamisburg City Schools records requested by this news outlet in the spring show the woman had a solid tenure in the district.

“Her lesson plans are detailed and contain measurable objectives, teaching strategies and an evaluation plan for each day,” according to a 2012 review. “Professional reflection on the lessons observed was completed.”
One document indicates she “has high academic expectations for her students” and “the teacher makes the content comprehensible by making connection to past learning.”
