ENGLEWOOD — Taylor Evans is the Northmont Rotary Student of the Month for the month of November.

This award recognizes excellence in the classroom but also in extracurricular, co-curricular, and leadership activities.

Evans, a Northmont senior, maintains a high GPA, as well as serves as commander of the NJROTC Unit at Northmont. She participates in track, cross country and swimming. Evans has also performed in plays at Northmont and the Victoria Theater and holds two part-time jobs.

This past summer, she participated in the Summer Seminar at the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis.

The Northmont Rotary Club meets at noon each Tuesday at Good Samaritan North Health Center, 9000 N. Main St., Englewood.
