Police investigate after occupied car is shot at in Huber Heights

Huber Heights police are investigating after an occupied vehicle was shot at late Monday night.

The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. in the 6500 block of Lemans Lane, per initial reports.

According to officials, the call came in as a burglary in progress with shots fired and when they arrived on scene they found the residents car had been shot while the residents were inside of the vehicle.

No one inside the car had been shot or was injured.

The suspects did flee the scene and officials do not have any description of them at this time.

Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
