Scott said police believe the man was in his own house at the intersection of Oak Avenue and First Street.
Neighbors in the quiet neighborhood reported hearing gunshots from the house around 5:32 a.m.
Limited information is available at this time, however, Scott said more details, including the name of the victim, will be released later today.
