Chain-reaction crash sends car into side of Clay Twp. house

UPDATE @ 8:40 a.m.: 

A crash caused a car to hit the side of a Clay Twp. home on Upper Lewisburg Salem Road Tuesday morning.

A car traveling south on Number Nine Road ran a stop sign at the intersection with Upper Lewisburg Salem Road around 8 a.m. and crashed into a car traveling east, according to Clay Twp. police.

The crash caused the first car to back into a yard and hit the side of a house.

One person was transported from the scene for precautionary reasons, police said.

The house did not sustain significant damage.

A crash caused one vehicle to hit a house on Upper Lewisburg Salem Road in Clay Twp. Tuesday morning, according to initial reports.

The crash was reported around 8 am. at the intersection of Upper Lewisburg Salem and Number Nine roads.

Injuries were initially reported but the condition of those involved was not immediately known.
