Road reopens after firefighters battle pole barn fire in Trotwood

Little Richmond Road has reopened after the pole barn fire.

The fire was extinguished and police and firefighters have cleared the scene.

No one was injured, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

The cause is unknown at this time.

FIRST REPORT:

Part of Little Richmond Road is shut down as firefighters battle flames coming from a pole barn in Trotwood.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the 4900 block of Little Richmond Road on the report of flames and heavy smoke showing from the barn Saturday just after 12:45 p.m., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

The barn is located about 50 feet from a house, according to dispatch.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
