1. A destructive fire took place at the Overstock Corner, a discount store located at 2939 Linden Avenue, early on Wednesday morning. The business offers clearance sales — up to 75 percent off — on clothes, shoes, home goods and accessories. Overstock Corner has 10 employees and opened in 2016, according to its website.

2. Investigators initially described the fire as suspicious, but they later ruled it as accidental, according to a fire department spokesman. Firefighters described a broken window as suspicious when they arrived on scene.

3. Overstock Corner officials told this newspaper they hope to fix the building up quickly. An insurance adjuster will visit the property on Wednesday.

4. The fire caused at least $100,000 in damage to the building, according to initial reports.
