One customer told this newsroom that she was notified DP&L would be taking service offline for transformer maintenance.

Customers were notified in advance of this outage with a phone call, DP&L said in a tweet around 4 p.m. Thursday. Power was scheduled to be out starting at midnight through 4 a.m.
