DP&L had to drop a section of a circuit because of a “very large tree” that is affecting overhead lines in the 2400 block of Coldsprings Drive.

Crews are on scene and DP&L is anticipating that everyone affected will have their service restored by 10 p.m., she said.

Reports of outages began coming into the utility about 6:43 p.m.

Service was dropped because of safety reasons, Millhouse said.

We will update this developing report as we learn more.
